We are looking for the right person to strengthen the sales department at our Shanghai office.
- Do you have a genuine interest in sales?
- Are you at the beginning of your career or do you have some years of experience?
- Are you interested in doing business in an international environment?
If yes, then you may be the right candidate. As a Business Developer your main task will be to identify prospective customers, analyze their organization and needs, and initiate the sales process by arranging meetings and establishing the relationship.
During an introductory period, you will receive training, continuous support and the possibility to accompany an Account Manager to visit our local customers in order to get an insight into the business environment. Our intention is that you will gradually increase the sales activities and develop new and potential customers, mainly by selling our entire range of services with a consultative approach, which requires a well-developed analytical ability to best capture and customize the right offer based on customer needs.
You are…
We envisage that you are a business-oriented person, who is performance-focused and driven by doing business on a high level. You are also motivated to create and develop new customer relationships and have an eye for new business opportunities. In addition, you should feel comfortable with working freely and independently under great responsibility and have a good ability to plan and follow up your own work.
We expect you to:
- Be proficient in Chinese at a native level – written and spoken.
- Communicate effortlessly in English – written and spoken.
- Possess a strong technological interest.
- Have undergone college or university education in engineering or business, preferably with focus on marketing and sales. Alternatively, you have other higher education and relevant professional experience.
It is also of merit to have worked with consultative sales of IT / technology-oriented service / systems in project-like form or have experience of sales oriented towards aftermarket departments.
